The area
A central, but quiet location near Essingetorget! Villas mixed with low apartment buildings, parks
and trees contribute to the Great Essingen special nature of small town close to Stockholm City. Lovely
walking and jogging paths through leafy residential areas and along the water.
At Essingetorget and thereabouts are grocery store, cafes, restaurants, video store, dry cleaning,
so on. There are also schools, kindergartens and libraries.
Many beaches, including Essinge Strandbad, and playgrounds are on the island. There is also
a big football field with artificial turf freshly cooked. There are several sailing clubs.
Free parking for almost the entire island!
Very good public transport with a bus outside the house. 1: s bus from Great
Essingen to Frihamnen through Fridhemsplan, Haymarket and Stureplan. Close also to cross the runway
that goes both to Alvik and to scrape through Liljeholmen and Gullmarsplan. For those who travel by car is
the fast and easy to get out of town via Essingeleden.
