About BonzoLiving

The BonzoLiving concept was born my husband and I dreamed of going on an extra long and wonderful holiday with the family but could not afford it. How could we make it happen? Well we had an apartment we could rent out while we ourselves lived at my parents' summer home or when we were abroad. We decided to sub-let. That made us enough money to go to Thailand where stayed for two months. It was a fantastic trip and our dream vacation is now preserved forever in our hearts. The idea simmered in the back of my head that I could do this so much better, cheaper and simpler than the then existing agencies and that other people could realize their travel dreams.

When I was little we had a dog called Bonzo and hence the name. He was a wonderful faithful, loyal and wonderful dog full of energy and zest for life and I hope to convey through this site. I want it to be a place where ordinary people who cannot otherwise afford to realize their dreams achieve it by renting out their homes. Maybe you can stay with a friend over the summer and share the money you earn. Perhaps the week you are away on holiday you can rent your place; maybe you travel for work a few weeks and could rent your place out. When you think about it, it's rather often that your place is empty unused and could earn you some money which you can have so much more fun with than just paying for an empty apartment.

Most sites require you to rent your place out for long periods. At BonzoLiving you can rent out your place for as short a time as one weekend. I think it is too expensive to with other sites so our fees are as low as I can go so you feel that you get what you deserve for your apartment, house, summer cottage or cabin. And it should you and renters who make as many of the decisions as possible. At BonzoLiving you can set prices, put in an ad and change the ad and the pictures as often as you want.

If you are renting through BonzoLiving I want to make it a place where you can stay in as homey an environment as possible. Often, our clientele are business travelers, sales reps, and tourists tired of staying in a hotel and would much rather stay in a normal apartment where you can be yourself and relax. Getting to stay in someone's home can recharge you after a long day. Now is your opportunity to stay in someone's home on your own where you can get closer to their lives in the city you visit. Instead of living in a tiny room partitioned off from everyone and everything you can now enjoy the opportunity of a home away from home.
